The Askold, a Russian cruise missile carrier damaged in a missile attack on Kerch, is a newly built warship that has not yet been commissioned into the Black Sea Fleet, Ukrainian Navy spokesman Dmytro Pletenchuk said on Nov. 6.

The brand new heavily-armed Russian corvette Askold is confirmed to have been badly damaged in new imagery after a Ukrainian missile attack.
