A dog food company has issued a massive recall over possible contamination of salmonella and listeria.

Beware, pet owners: Some dog food is facing a recall because it may be contaminated with salmonella and listeria, according to a recall notice posted to the Food and Drug Administration’s website this week. 

A United States producer of frozen meat products that ships nationally has voluntarily recalled two and five pound packages of its product containing ground beef. Sample tests have shown traces of two potentially harmful forms of bacteria.
