Accident and Emergency Departments in england had their worst waiting time performance in january since targets were introduced 13 years ago. Provisional figures leaked to the bbc also suggest that a record numbers of patients have had to wait on trolleys for a bed to become available. The Department Of Health insists the vast majority of patients are treated quickly. Patients are traditionally supposed to be seen and discharged within four hours, with a target of 95 . But the bbc has learnt the provisional figures forjanuary show only 82 were seen within
