Abc News Reporter Amy Hollyfield is live in richmond with the latest. Amy . Reporter eric, look at the car behind me. It flew off of the freeway, rolled down that embankment and landed right there. This is on the exit ramp for central here in the richmond el serrito border. The driver did die. The off ramp is closed. He was westbound on interstate 80 passing a construction site when a chp officer who was at that site saw him passing and noticed his front tire was so flat he was driving on the rim. The officer was going to pursue him to see if he needed help. To see if he was drunk. Just to see what was going on with this guy. Us now with a progress report, jana. Julie, i want to let you know that just in the past two minutes both sides have been walking out of the door. We have josie moody and antoinnet bryant. They say theyve wrapped up their talks today after an exchange of ideas which theyre going to go back and analyze before they come back tomorrow morning to continue these talks. The bottom line. What im hearing from both sides, theres been progress it has just been really, really slow. About 100 Union Members and supporters marched down oaklands grand avenue and their message was loud and clear. But negotiators on both sides appear to be making some concessions and exchanges proposals. Weve sat down with the districts and i think weve made minimal progress.
