Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture, Zizi Kodwa, has emphasised the importance of regulating the creative sector to avoid the exploitation of creatives by producers and agencies.
The debate on proposed copyright law rages on in parliament with opponents calling for it to be sent back to the drawing board while others say all it needs are minor tweaks to ensure the creative sector gets what is due to it.

Multichoice South Africa has announced the appointment of Collen Dlamini as the new executive head of corporate affairs.
Dlamini has previously worked for Kagiso Media and MTN.
