India has criticized the United Nations General Assemblys decision to roll over the Inter-Governmental Negotiations on Security Council reform to the next session, calling it a wasted opportunity. Indias ambassador to the UN, Ruchira Kamboj, stated that the current process could continue for another 75 years without achieving genuine progress. She emphasized the need for text-based negotiations and the application of General Assembly Rules of Procedure for real reform.
