Police are on scene at Perry High School Thursday morning investigating reports of a shooting according to the Des Moines Register.

A shooting at Perry High School in Iowa resulted in multiple injuries on the first day of classes after the holiday break. The shooter was reported dead, possibly from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The extent and number of injuries are still being determined. The shooting occurred on the first day of the spring semester, and the incident may have curtailed the number of victims.
