The demonstrations unfolded outside the Boston Marriott Copley Place, where The Satanic Temple in Salem is hosting a three-day gathering called SatanCon.

Members of the Nationalist Social Club / NSC 131, a neo-Nazi group, hung a banner that read "Keep Boston Irish" along the South Boston St. Patrick's Day Parade's route on March 20. One couple, Rod Webber and Lauren Pespisa, helped shut down the stunt while politicians and organizers have since condemned it.
