MILITARY WIVES ASSOCIATION VISIT MOI AIR BASE SCHOOLS AND MEDICAL CENTER Military Wives Association of Kenya (MWAK) officials led by the Chairperson, Mrs. Tabitha Kibochi visited Moi Air Base (MAB) to assess the operations of MAB schools and the Base Medical Center (BMC), on 28 April 2020. They were received by the Base Commander MAB Brigadier Peter Githinji at the MAB Officer’s Mess where several presentations were made. The MWAK officials were briefed on the establishment, infrastructure, activities, performance, and challenges of Moi Forces Academy (MFA) Secondary, MFA primary, and MAB primary schools by the Chief Principal MFA secondary, Mr. James Kigwa, Headteacher MFA primary, Ms. Jacqueline Okwaro, and Headteacher MAB Primary, Ms. Rachel Keraka respectively. The Senior Medical Officer Kenya Air Force (KAF) Colonel (Dr.) Nicholas Mugweru made a presentation on KAF maternal and child health services.

Coffee farmers reap big as sector makes Sh17 billion - FarmKenya Initiative

KDF TAEKWONDO TEAM DONATES RELIEF ITEMS TO MOTHER TERESA CHILDREN’S HOME The Ulinzi Taekwondo team led by the Chairman who is also the Base Commander Moi Air Base (MAB), Brigadier Peter Githinji donated various foodstuff, clothes, sanitary items, and firewood to Mother Teresa children’s home, Huruma. Brigadier Githinji was received by Sister Maria Salome, in charge of Missionary Charity East African region, and Sister Joseph Catherine in charge of Missionary Charity, Huruma. Briefing the two, the Commander MAB passed greetings from the Commander Kenya Air Force, Major General Francis Ogolla, and presented his donation. While handing over the donation which consisted of, bar soap, washing detergent, hand wash liquid, adult pampers, long life fresh milk, tea leaves, rice, spaghetti, maize flour, wheat flour, porridge flour, and tissues, Brigadier Githinji expounded on how Ulinzi Taekwondo team has been helping the children’s home with what they can whenever called upo
