Aveva, a global leader in industrial software, has announced Caspar Herzberg as CEO, who brings a deep understanding of how technology can transform and reshape industries.

Jean-Pascal Tricoire (pictured) will be replaced in May by Peter Herweck, formerly head of the firms industrial automation and now Aveva chief exec.
