KickOff.com can reveal that former Bidvest Wits goalkeeper Darren Keet is set to turn out for DStv Premiership club Cape Town City next season.
Keet, who spent the last few months playing for GladAfrica championship outfit Cape Umoya United, is set to join City on a three-year deal.
The move follows the departure of Peter Leeuwenburgh, who has returned to the Netherlands to join Eredivisie side FC Groningen ahead of the new season.
According to a source close to Citizens, Keet will not be continuing in the lower division and is set to return to the top flight to try and reclaim his Bafana Bafana spot.

Cape Town City have confirmed goalkeeper Peter Leeuwenburgh has left the club for Eredivisie side FC Groningen after three years in the DStv Premiership.
The 27-year-old Dutch youth international keeper departs with the MTN8 success to his name, won under former head coach Benni McCarthy in 2018.
He follows Greek defender Giannis Potouridis out of the club, while Jan Olde Riekerink was replaced by Eric Tinkler as head coach last week - as plans for next season begins early in the Mother City.

AmaZulu closed the gap on DSTV Premiership leaders Mamelodi Sundowns to just one point on Wednesday after their emphatic 5-1 victory over Cape Town City at the Cape Town Stadium.
It was a game that Benni McCarthy s charges dominated, with Augustine Mulenga and Tapelo Xoki putting them up 2-0 at half-time and Lehlohonolo Majoro, Luvuyo Memela and Siyathemaba Sithebe adding to the score in the second half.
But this wasn t any ordinary match.
In fact, there were FOUR penalties awarded during the encounter with TWO missed, one from each side.
Xoki converted the first for AmaZulu just before half-time after Memela was brought down by City keeper, Peter Leeuwenburgh.
