Making her first start of the year, defending Ontario Sires Stakes champ Adare Castle asserted her class to post a facile victory in the first of two $25,000 eliminations for the SBOA Stakes at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Saturday (May 14).

The best of her Ontario Sires Stakes division as a two-year-old, Adare Castle has started her road back to a divisional title defense for 2022. And according to her connections, her focus and her appearances will both remain local.

It's just under three months until Hanover Raceway kicks off its 2022 race season and about five months away from the eliminations of the track's signature race, the Dream of Glory.
