A top court in Massachusetts found Tuesday that personhood rights extend to a fetus when it is killed as a result of the homicide of a pregnant woman.

Gavin Sorge Sr. said they are still lost from the shock of their family being torn apart.

Peter Ronchi, 58, Gavin Sorge Jr., 22, and Sean Kamszik, 23, all lived in the same home.

A sports utility vehicle crossed over into oncoming traffic, striking a van carrying three passengers, killing all three. The driver of the SUV was pronounced dead on the scene.

The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. on Portland Avenue, in the area of Toll Road, according to a release from police in Rollinsford, New Hampshire.

Four men were killed in a two-car crash in Rollinsford, New Hampshire, on Sunday night.

Three of the victims were from South Berwick.
