The president has not acknowledged the call of the people and threatened to veto the approval of the Keystone Pipeline. Americans cant afford another two years deterred by politics and cant afford threats and posturing instead of legitimate legislating. The American People deserve a congress and president focused on them, not the next election. I dont know what direction president obama will choose for the last two years of his presidency but i can guarantee you that your priorities will be our priorities for americas new congress. I think we understate the importance of this pipeline project and these deliberations to our relationship with our friends in canada. I have no doubt about it because i have seen it and hypocrisy which they have no objection to and then refusing them the same opportunity, that is you want to call about the United States projecting a bad image in conducting a double standard in the world, this is one of them. I look at the states through which the pipeline runs and i happen to look at where the support for the pipeline is, amazing to me how almost every representative and senator in the state where the pipeline actually runs is in favor of it. There is almost no opposition. So im delighted other parts of the country are worried about our water and environment. But we are really capable of making those decisions all by ourselves and most of these states do it on a routine basis. Thats all i come could find level of the pretty intense thunderstorms we had today. Just a couple of spotty showers in the salinas valley. Heres the system on the wide view. If this makes its way into southern california, everything will be winding up. This is the scene in pengrove from the first system that came through. A strong thunderstorm in the north bay, around 1 to 2 00. Then we had a 2nd system flare up, a second batch of thunderstorms in the south bay, creating a lightning, hail in that area, also some rainbows too. That was a nice shot in newark.
