Power outages affecting 1,642 PG&E customers began late Sunday night in San Luis Obispo.  Neighborhoods south of Marsh and Santa Rosa Street going towards Sinsheimer Park are impacted.

Thousands of PG&E customers were without power Tuesday in the Lake Nacimiento area due to EPSS outages.

More than 6,000 PG&E customers lost power in Atascadero Thursday afternoon. Power is expected to be restored by 7 p.m. in the evening.

"We can't run the risk of something happening in these high fire threat areas and us not knowing about it and not being able to turn the power off,"
