During a Tuesday (Jan. 12) morning news conference, Governor John Bel Edwards announced his decision to keep Louisiana under its current Phase 2 Modified Restrictions. 

Despite a grim message from the Governor, Louisiana will stay in Phase 2 for the next 28 days.
