A Portuguese cybersecurity company is making Gloucestershire its new global HQ.
The move by B10Sec was facilitated by Invest in Gloucestershire, the county’s inward investment programme.
B10Sec’s founder and CEO, Flavio Shiga, recently registered the business in Cheltenham and plans to relocate the company from Portugal later this year.
B10Sec Cybersecurity and Data Protection Services Ltd delivers projects to more than 10 countries. One of its specialisms and commercial solutions is the development of the IO Leak Data Monitor, a software-as-a-service (SAAS) solution that proactively identifies data leaks.
The Invest in Gloucestershire team has been supporting B10Sec over the last 10 months, having first been approached via the Department of Business and Trade on the back of the launch of the Cyber in Gloucestershire High Potential Opportunity (HPO) initiative in September 2022.
