Have heard a helicopter overhead in North Charlotte this evening. Cmpd officers responded to shots being fired near poll being and white road. Police say a group of more than a dozen men were playing poker. According to investigators, one person had a gun, took it outside and began firing the shots. He then took off into the woods. Nobody was hurt. Police have since cleared the scene. No word tonight if a suspect is in custody.
