Anniversary of the appointment of John Marshall to the Supreme Court. The capstone of that particular evening was a rousing lecture by Justice Scalia about the importance of John Marshall to the history of the court and the history of the country. Justice scalia was a grand friend of both the Marshall Foundation and the Supreme Court Historical Society. I hope you will join me in just a moment of silence to remember Justice Scalia. Thank you. Neighborhood was the picture of suburban tranquility. Trash trucks made their rounds, a schoolbus rumbled through. But in the predawn areas neighbors here awakened by sounds make clear all is not as it appears. I heard five, six, sets of shots. That many. Yeah. What goes through your mind when you hear that . Well, used to be a nice neighborhood. Reporter around 3am gunshots were reported near the intersection of woodhaven and court land lanes. Win minutes Willingboro Police were on the scene to discover a mans body inside this dark colored kia pennsylvania license plate. Investigators are treating it as an apparent homicide but beyond that are saying little. As police comb for clues, residents talked about that overnight gunfire. It woke me up, and of course, it woke my children up, and they were concerned. We just waited and all of a sudden we saw a lot of police activity.
