The US government is partnering with the Philippine government to accelerate the economic development of nine cities outside of Metro Manila through the USAid's Urban Connect Project. The five-year project will fund capacity-building programs and provide technical assistance to foster economic growth in the partner cities. This will improve health and education services, promote climate resilience and disaster readiness, and champion gender equality and social inclusion in partner cities.
