Addingham Visor Army presented with Civic Pride Awards
A TEAM of volunteers who worked tirelessly to get Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to frontline health workers during the pandemic have been recognised for their efforts. The group - Addingham Visor Army - raised thousands of pounds to source and distribute visors to Airedale Hospital and local GPs. Now Addingham Civic Society has presented the seven women with Civic Pride Awards. Due to lockdown they met in the centre of the village to receive the awards and couldn’t even shake hands....
