Request comes in response to Times Union s investigation of broken bolts

ALBANY Members of the state Assembly Republican conference are calling for a federal investigation into the structural integrity of the Gov. Mario M. Cuomo Bridge after an eight-month Times Union investigation raised questions about the thoroughness of the state s response to an alleged cover-up of bolts that broke in significant numbers during the construction process.
