State Rep. Vivian Flowers (D-Pine Bluff) will host a town hall meeting on Thursday, June 1, at 5:30 p.m. in the auditorium at Pine Bluff High School. Flowers will provide updates on critical legislation proposed and passed during the 94th General Assembly of the state Legislature, as well as on local issues critical to education and public safety.

Sandra Colbert Boone, an educator and 20-year veteran of the Watson Chapel School District known for championing an ongoing campaign for a new high school, died earlier this week.
