Like Will Rogers, Im not a member of any organized political party. Im an OLTACer, as in Old Lake Tahoe Athletic Club, "Old" being the operative word. Yes, we are 10 members strong, and our good-natured motto is, "I dont give a (fill in the blank with your own inappropriate word) what you think."

After four years at the helm of the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce, I have decided to "hang up my spurs" and retire as the Chambers Executive Director. One dazzling Tahoe day not long ago, my gaze fell upon a buttermilk sky, and suddenly, unexpectedly, I perceived time and space mutually, as one. I conjoined with those perfect balls of cotton and my body shook with awe. Wow! My first thought was, “I’m going to take another run at Einstein’s Theory of Relativity.”
