The doctor says shes not going to walk but maybe going to rehab to help her to walk in the future. Thats what i want. Reporter she was that Washington Square park with her daughters last friday when a heavy Pine Tree Branch snapped and landed on her head. Her husband says doctors told him her lower spine is broken and her skull is cracked. She cries when i see her. I tell her not to worry. We will ask for people to help and hopefully people can help us. Reporter he says their 2 young daughters 5 and 9 are having a tough time eating and keep asking when their mom will come home. Doctors have not told the family when she will be able to leave the hospital but the road to her recovery is likely to be long. Her husband says she is the rock of the family. Sera an ef one tornado just to give you some perspective, it ef0 is the weakest. One of 39 homes to suffer damage, residents getting an earlymorning wakeup call for Mother Nature. It was incredibly scary. I dont think my heart has ever beat that fast in my whole life. Alone when Mother Nature swept across her home around knocking 3 a. M. , tree limbs down around the house. It was literally 2 to 3 minutes and then it was all done. Sera the tree in the front yard, uprooted and toppled, but luckily not crashing into her home. The powerful storm pulled down utility poles and snapped tree limbs, power lines draping across lexington road, the hit section. I heard this ungodly noise. Sera a pine tree came down onto breaking under the weight of the tree. Weve got to take the whole thing down.
