Kenyan police are investigating suspected killings of four men on a Del Monte pineapple farm near Nairobi, months after a media report said security guards on the same farm had killed and assaulted trespassing villagers.

Plans for 90 homes in a Somerset village opposed by 1,109 locals have been rejected.

Villagers have long complained of guard brutality at the plantation, including three suspected deaths in the previous four years.
