Plane Missing News Today

Alaska Airlines Flight 1282 from Portland, Ore., to Ontario made an emergency landing after a window and part of the plane's wall blew out, according to social media reports.

In a breaking news a small passenger plane having 23 people on board including crew members has gone missing while it was flying over the Himalayas. The Tara Twin Otter plane lost contact exactly an hour after being in the air. A search operation has been launched to find the missing aircraft while the fate of the people aboard the plane remains unknown.

A The Cessna 340 left Manila with a pilot, a crew member and two passengers, but has not been heard from since then, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines said.

There was no word on any survivors.

Aerial photos of the crash site showed aircraft parts scattered on rocks.
