On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, Ontarians will have an opportunity to check out a rare celestial event as five planets are expected to align within view.

A planetary parade will begin Tuesday, when more than half of the planets in the solar system align.

Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Uranus and Mars will line up near moon.

It's common to see two or three at a time, but this is a rare event.

Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Uranus can be seen together now in the night sky, but the best date to view the celestial alignment is March 28, when the planets stretch from the western horizon to about halfway up the sky.
