The Silver Ferns wing attack made her 100th appearance in domestic netball last weekend, as the Stars beat the Mainland Tactix to make it two wins from two this ANZ Premiership season. Adelaide Thunderbirds season preview A Set the default text size A Set large text size Replay A Set the default text size A Set large text size The Thunderbirds finished last year in seventh. The biggest surprise to come out of the Thunderbirds camp in the offseason was that co-captain and former Aussie Diamond and English Rose Chelsea Pitman was not offered a new contract. Another key loss for the Thunderbirds is the return of the doctor Layla Guscoth to England to re-join Team...

It’s not that the Tactix have lost both their matches so far this ANZ Premiership season. It’s that they’ve lost them with their opponents running away down the stretch. They were down by just six at halftime against the Steel in round one, before losing by 18, then were only down by three at halftime against the Stars on Sunday, before losing by 14. With no easy games on the schedule this season, turning in a 60-minute performance has to be the first thing on the pre-season favourites...
