Man charged with assault on woman and abusing shop worker

A man is set to appear at Plymouth Magistrates' Court on Saturday (March 13) charged with attacking a woman in a city street and abusing a female shop worker.
Jamie Hartill was arrested by police in the early hours of Friday morning following an incident in Mayflower Street.
The incident was spotted by a council CCTV controller who alerted police who arrived two minutes later.
The woman in her early 20s was walking past the entrance of the Mayflower Court House car park when she was allegedly assaulted by 25-year-old Hartill.
