With 3,184 new cases of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) recorded on Friday, Pune district continues to break highest single-day spike tally every day. Friday’s surge has pushed the caseload to 4,31,528. With 16 patients losing their lives to the virus, the
death toll in the district stands at 9,330.
However, some 1,685 patients were discharged from various hospitals across the district after full recovery. This has brought the total number of patients cured of COVID-19 in Pune district to 4,03,633.
