POSCO plans to improve mobile phone communication networks for disasters and to quickly restore communication in cases of an emergency at its steel mills, according to the steelmaker, Friday.

On Sept. 6, 2022, the steel mill was flooded with water due to the super typhoon, but just 135 days later, the plant is once again in full swing producing red-hot molten iron that surpasses 1,000 degrees Celsius.
