Anita Pointer, who sang with her sisters to commercial fame as the Pointer Sisters, has died at the age of 74.

Grammy winning writer/singer and founding member of the Pointer Sisters, Anita Pointer, died Saturday at the age of 74.

The Pointer Sisters are known for hit songs including "Im So Excited" and "Slow Hand." Anita Pointer, one of the four sibling singers, died Dec. 31.
