Board leaders elected
With a vote of 7-3-1, Jennifer Green a Yum! Brands attorney from District 7 was elected chair.
In a separate vote, Watson, who is the equity and compliance officer for the Louisville Metropolitan Sewer District, was voted vice chair. She is from District 11.
Green said during the meeting that getting the inspector general hired and set up for success is a priority. This board is ineffectual without a strong (inspector general) in place, Green said.
In the coming weeks, the board also will be responsible for establishing bylaws for structure and operation, according to Hollie Hopkins, a Jefferson County attorney advising the board.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - Brian Pinkston is once again running for Charlottesville City Council.
Pinkston ran unsuccessfully in 2019 and is currently a facilities management director at the University of Virginia
The Democrat says his project management skills, along with his ability to connect with people, will help him accomplish several goals if elected: “To strengthen the Police Civilian Review Board. I want to do what I can to strengthen relationships between the university and the county. I want to do what I can to lower the temperature and raise the level of collaboration amongst members of the council,” Pinkston said.
