Nikki a fort dodge neighborhood is experiencing a string of vandalism. More than a dozen vehicles have been broken into, and Police Believe its not just a trick or treat prank. Local fives jacob peklo joins us now with more on the crime spree. Jacob bam nikki, it started with one call about a break in, and then Fort Dodge Police found that it wasnt a one time occurrence on halloween. Im expecting partly sunny skies through the afternoon, so while well be cloudy at times we should also be able to grab some sun. Temperatures today are going to be able to climb into the low to mid 30s with the help of a strong southerly wind. Overnight tonight our temperatures should stay very mild with lows hovering in the mid to upper 20s with a decent breeze. Wednesday will start dry but well increase cloud cover through the day and see an afternoon rain and wintry mix scattered across the state. Thursday is looking warm enough that most of our fall mainly as rain with highs in the upper 30s. Friday looks fairly warm, but i think well see more of a mix between rain showers and a wintry mix. Year is barely underway but seven Elementary Schools and four middle schools wrapped up two hours early. Not all parents and guardians, many who had to rearrange child care believe in the decision. This will negatively affect their education. We never had days off when i went to school. Reporter School Officials say the heat and humidity are too extreme and the early dismissal involves schools with limited or no airconditioning. Opening windows and running fans is not providing enough relief which leads to another complaint from parents. How come they dont have air conditioning . There wouldnt be no dismissal. Where is our taxes going . Reporter and, so, the question becomes what happens tomorrow . Well, in the last 15 minutes or so, the School District coming up with a decision.
