Because i think i underestimated -- theres the policy implications and people do support background checks. i dont think thats really controversial. but the question is, how intensely do they care about that? and one of the things i think happened in the wake of this vote was that there was enough attention put on the vote and the names of the people who voted against it and the popularity of the measure itself that it said something about that senator as -- in terms of their character. what kin...
