Head of the Polish MoD, Mariusz Błaszczak announced that the negotiation on procurement of the Korean K239 Chunmoo rocket artillery system has been finalized. The Polish Armed Forces would receive almost 300 systems as such, while the Polish defence industry would receive the rockets manufacturing know-how, stated Błaszczak in an interview for i.pl. Defence24.pl reported back in August, that there is a growing probability Poland would purchase the South Korean system.

A Korean AS-21 Redback Infantry Fighting Vehicle, made by Hanwha Defense, which is considered to be purchased for the Polish Armed Forces, is planned to be demonstrated in Poland in October. The Korean company is also planning to launch its branch office in Poland as well as an in-service support point for K9A1 howitzers. Any trouble surrounding the deliveries of the Piorun missile has been overcome and currently, deliveries are following a newly arranged schedule, the PGZ Group announced during a media briefing. The Group also announced the planned delivery of the Piorun systems to the US-based customer.

Christine Lambrecht, head of the German MoD, sent a letter to her Polish counterpart, Mariusz Błaszczak, on delivery of equipment taking place to fill in the gaps left, after military aid was provided to Ukraine by Warsaw. The letter suggests that it would be either possible for Poland and Germany to jointly acquire brand new Leopard MBTs, or Poland could receive large numbers of legacy Leopard 1 MBTs or Marder IFVs.

The deal covers the purchase of 1,000 K2 tanks, 672 K9 self-propelled howitzers, and 48 FA-50PL light combat aircraft, with production benefits for Poland as well.

Mariusz Błaszczak, Head of the Polish MoD announced via Twitter that a British Challenger 2 company-sized element has been deployed to Poland. The unit is expected to work together with the elements of the 18th Mechanized Division, like the US airborne units.
