Vietnam has introduced a roadmap for the development of the domestic carbon market by 2027, preparing for a Net Zero future as part of the country’s commitments to climate change at the UN Climate Change Conference in Glasgow (COP26).
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has reported a large volume of waste from the fishing industry, of which fishing vessels with a length of 6 meters or longer generate over 64,100 tons of plastic waste a year.
Many types of fruit peels, considered such as cocoa and shrimp shells and rice husks, can be processed into useful products, thus increasing product value, regenerating resources, and protecting the environment.
Pollution has been mounting in Vietnam with the growing use of nylon bags and plastic products, which must be replaced with more environmentally friendly alternatives while improving consumer awareness.
