Donations from Acadiana are making their way out to those volunteers searching for the missing Seacor Power crew members.
The Jeanerette Fire Department says that donations sent to them by community members for search volunteers.
On Friday, the Fire Department loaded up a trailer of donations that will be going to the crews searching. Earlier this week, the department requested items such as water, sunscreen and bug spray among others.
They say they are thankful for the donations from everyone and will continue to accept them as long as there is a need. The Fire Department is in contact with those searching and will update when donations are no longer needed.

It s that time of year again, when little baby alligators are reminding us that we share southwest Louisiana with these reptiles.
The Port Barre Police Department posted a picture of an officer who caught one of the little buggers trying to throw some Godzilla attitude.
The baby Officer Lagrange caught was released in Bayou Courtableau, away from town. But the PD took the opportunity to remind everyone to be careful. Even a little one, like this one, can be dangerous but the bigger ones are most likely out and about as well.
A former St. Landry Parish sheriff s deputy was convicted in New Mexico of incest after he had sex with a teenage relative.
Leon Boudreaux was found guilty after a jury trial last month, according to court filings. He faces up to three years in prison, his attorney, Lisa Torraco, said in an email.
Boudreaux was facing three counts one count of incest and two counts of first-degree criminal sexual penetration, when a victim is forced or coerced and suffers bodily harm or mental anguish.
But the two rape charges were dropped by a judge in November after Torraco argued there was no factual basis to support them and the judge said prosecutors didn t provide supporting evidence.
