bh THE Inverclyde councillor who chairs the Strathclyde Partnership for Transport committee which has just approved grants worth £35k for two local organisations today hailed the funding boost. Councillor David Wilson says he is pleased that Ardgowan Hospice will get £25k, while Port Glasgow Voluntary Trans-Port Group will pick up £10k. Mr Wilson said: “Given the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the last year has had a severe impact on all transport operators, and this includes those working in community transport. However, it still remains that many of these community transport projects are lifelines services for those individuals and groups they support and help.
