A Bensalem man will spend up to 14 years in state prison for causing a crash that killed a father of four last year.
On Wednesday, more than a dozen friends and family members gathered to honor Ron Ronnie Swanson, who was killed when Cooper Finley, 32, crashed head-on into his vehicle in Bensalem in March.
Finley was sentenced to six to 14 years in prison, followed by seven years of probation.
Family members recalled Coach Ronnie, as a man who would do anything for anyone, and had a great sense of humor. He just had something special about him, Justin Swanson, Ron Swanson s oldest son, said in a victim impact statement. And I m so proud to say I m a Swanson.
