Oscar was last alive snorkelling just off Church Ope Cove on May 27 A TEENAGER died during a snorkelling and spearfishing expedition with family off the coast of Portland, an inquest heard. Oscar Nelson Hugh Montgomery, aged 17, travelled to Church Ope Cove, Portland on May 27 last year to take part in water activities. The teenager, from Solihull, Birmingham, who was an experienced snorkeller and spearfisher, was last seen entering the water at Church Ope Cove around 9.30am, but failed to return. On June 17 last year Oscar s body was recovered from the water - a short distance from the location where he was last seen.
