The Huntsmen held leads off 11-8 after one quarter and 22-17 at halftime, but a 22-13 lead late in the second quarter vanished as the Clay Panthers went on a 13-0 run that extended from late first half into the third period where Clay grabbed a 26-22 advantage. By the end of the third period, Huntingtonm had tied the score at 26-26 and trailed only one last time at 29-28 where they grabbed the lead for good and held on to improve to (2-14) on the season while Clay dropped to (3-12).
