Post-It Note Co-Inventor Spencer Silver Has Died
3M Companies (KNSI) – The man who helped invent Post-It notes has died. In 1968, 3M employee Spencer Silver came up with the idea of an adhesive that was strong enough to hold paper together but could be removed, and stick again, but not damage the paper. Another 3M worker, Art Fry, developed what would later become known to the world as Post-It Notes in 1974.
