UCLA released a letter Tuesday to those inside the pro-Palestine encampment in Dickson Plaza saying their protest is “unlawful and violates university policy” and could result in suspension or expulsion.

Witnesses said police officers did not respond to the campus until early Wednesday morning despite the violence clash that went on for a couple of hours.
