Energy giant Shell has started production of green hydrogen at the power-to-hydrogen electrolyser in Zhangjiakou, one of the world’s largest H2 electrolysers.

Shell has started operations at the power-to-hydrogen electrolyser in Zhangjiakou. The electrolyser will provide about half of the total green hydrogen supply for fuel cell vehicles at the Zhangjiakou competition zone during the Winter Olympic Games, set to begin on February 4, 2022.

Shell (NYSE: RDS.A) revealed that it has commenced production at a 20-megawatt hydrogen electrolyzer, described as “one of the world’s largest.”
