Guwahati, March 22: The Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati organized a Yuva Sangam program under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiated by the Union Ministry of Education.

The delegates bonded with the Student Gymkhana which is the elected body of the students of IIT Indore thus developing a “Buddy System”.

The entire tour of these delegates has been planned and the itinerary has been designed to provide them with multi-dimensional exposure

Yuva Sangam, an initiative of Government of India, is mooted with an aim to strengthen people to people connect and build empathy between youth of North-Eastern states and the rest of India.

The Yuva Sangams main objective is to expose young people from North Eastern States—students and off-campus youth—to other states and vice versa.
