Using the Zomato Inter-state service, a customer purchased Briyani from Hyderabad. However, he receive a little box of salan in its stead. Recently, Zomato introduced its inter-city food delivery service, enabling customers to order unique food from other locations.
The Zomato shareholder said that it was a double loss for him -- as a shareholder and as a customer -- and asked Deepinder Goyal to figure out the lapses.
Syed Akbaruddin, former permanent representative of India to the United Nations, on Tuesday joined the Kautilya School of Public Policy here as its dean. While Akbaruddin tweeted saying it is a "new start" for him, the public policy institute said his appointment is a testimony to its commitment to provide students an exposure to the best minds from the policy fraternity. Such exposure would help shape students into responsible public policymakers of the future, the institute said in a statement. Hyderabad: Kautilya School of Public Policy, Hyderabad, affiliated to GITAM (deemed to be university) hosted a high-profile webinar titled ‘Can the youth shake up politics and policy in India’. The session dovetailed into the current scenario of the state and how the youth are voicing their opinions and being at the forefront to make a change.
The webinar allowed for academic discourse on a multitude of topics while majorly discussing the youth, policies and politics of India. Issues of privatization, farm bills and the government’s way of expressing themselves at the grassroot level were brought to the table. A dire need of educational institutes that specifically cater to policy making which not only compete with Ivy leagues outside the country but churn young minds into leaders of tomorrow was called for.
BENGALURU: Foreign Policy must not be limited to Indian Foreign Services and political centre of New Delhi but be pursued by youngsters in all parts of the country, including South India, said experts at a recent discussion.
The remark was made by Member of Parliament, Shashi Tharoor who explained that he has previously held workshops and programmes in different parts of the country to help youngsters understand the nuances of foreign policy. “Foreign policy is too a critical an issue for the well-being of the people in the country to be confined to the chancelleries of New Delhi, the embassies and the South Block,” he said.
