300 children will benefit from the renovated school building
VADODARA: Nearly 300 kids, many of them first in their families to get an education, will now undergo schooling in transformed ambiance.
Indiranagar Prathamik Shala near Koyali, which was otherwise a 25-year-old dilapidated building, has got a new lease of life into it with the support of the Baroda Young Turks Roundtable 201 (BYRT). The newly rejuvenated classroom block was inaugurated by cricketer Irfan Pathan on Wednesday.
The primary school was in dire need for funds to repair some of its derelict classrooms when they approached BYRT, a part of Round Table India.
BYRT chairman Sunil Hingorani and project head Amit Agarwal took the onus of renovating four classrooms for the school while BYRT member Bhavik Thakkar and his team designed and executed the transformation of classrooms.
