Researchers at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee discovered a 3D structure of a bacterial enzyme that can aid the faster breakdown of plastic, said a press release.

Police suspect that family dispute could be a reason behind the suicide.
According to police, the deceased, identified as Pravindra Kumar (34), belonged to Shamli. He used to live with his wife Monika (31) and two children.
Atul Sonkar, circle officer, Loni, said that Pravindra was on leave from duty on Monday and was supposed to go to work on Tuesday. Monika told police that around 4am on Tuesday, her husband got up and went to another room adjacent to the bedroom. “At around 7.30am, Monika knocked on the door, but there was no reply. After five minutes, she once again came to wake him and knocked but when he didn’t respond. Somehow, she broke the door and found his body hanging with a dupatta,” the officer added.
